Escorts Kubota has been allotted a 154-acre land parcel by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority to establish a new manufacturing facility in the Yamuna Expressway industrial region. The site is located in Sector-10 of the YEIDA industrial area and will be used for a greenfield project aimed at expanding the company's production capacity. While financial details of the investment were not disclosed, the development reflects continued industrial activity in the corridor, which has been witnessing increased allocation of land for manufacturing and allied sectors.
Escorts Kubota has secured a 154-acre land parcel from the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority for the development of a new manufacturing facility, as part of its capacity expansion plans. The allocation was confirmed in a regulatory filing made in the past week.
The land parcel is located in Sector-10 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) industrial area, a region that has emerged as a key manufacturing and logistics hub along the Yamuna Expressway corridor in Uttar Pradesh. The proposed facility will be developed as a greenfield project, indicating that construction will begin from the ground up on previously undeveloped land.
The company stated that the new facility is intended to enhance its production capacity, although it did not disclose specific investment figures or timelines for the project. The absence of financial details suggests that further disclosures may follow as the project progresses through planning and execution stages.
The Yamuna Expressway industrial belt has seen increasing interest from manufacturing firms in recent years, driven by improved connectivity, availability of large land parcels and proximity to the National Capital Region. The YEIDA has been actively allocating land to industrial and infrastructure projects to support regional economic growth and attract private investment.
Escorts Kubota operates across sectors including agricultural machinery, construction equipment and railway components, and has been expanding its footprint in line with demand growth across these segments. The establishment of a new manufacturing unit in the YEIDA region is expected to support its operational scale and supply chain efficiencies.
Market response to the development remained stable, with the company's shares closing nearly 2 per cent higher at INR 2,928 apiece on the BSE following the announcement. The movement reflects investor interest in capacity expansion initiatives within the engineering and manufacturing sector.
The allocation also aligns with broader policy efforts to strengthen industrial infrastructure along key expressway corridors in Uttar Pradesh. Authorities have been promoting the region as a destination for large-scale manufacturing projects, supported by planned infrastructure, connectivity to logistics networks and access to major consumption centres.
With multiple industrial and infrastructure projects being planned and executed in the Yamuna Expressway belt, the addition of a new manufacturing facility by Escorts Kubota contributes to the ongoing development of the corridor as an integrated industrial zone.
