In a recent real estate transaction, Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha has added another feather to her cap by acquiring a lavish apartment in Mumbai's upscale Bandra suburb. The apartment, valued at Rs 11 crore, is located in the esteemed 81 Aureate tower on KC Road, close to the Bandra reclamation area. Spanning approximately 2,430 sq ft, this luxurious abode is situated on the tower's 26th floor.

The acquisition was made directly from the renowned developers, Pyramid Developers and Ultra Lifespaces. Documents, sourced from Zapkey.com, reveal that Sinha settled a stamp duty of Rs 55 lakh to register the deal, which was finalized on August 29.

This isn't Sinha's first purchase in the 81 Aureate tower. In March 2020, the actress had invested in another spacious apartment on the 16th floor, covering an area of 4,632 sq ft, for which she shelled out Rs 14 crore. That property, too, was procured directly from Pyramid Developers and Ultra Lifespaces.

Real estate continues to be a favoured investment avenue for the affluent. Numerous Bollywood celebrities are not just buying properties for personal use but also viewing them as lucrative investments. For instance, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan recently acquired four office spaces, totalling around 8,400 sq ft, in Mumbai's Andheri suburb, shelling out close to Rs 29 crore. This commercial project in Oshiwara also attracted other stars like Kartik Aryan, Sara Ali Khan, and her mother Amrita Singh. Notably, Ajay Devgan and Kajol had previously purchased office spaces in the same building.

The trend isn't limited to actors alone. Film producers and directors are also making headlines with their high-end property acquisitions. A case in point is film producer and director Dinesh Vijan, who recently bought a luxury duplex apartment in the Rustomjee Parishram tower, located in Bandra's elite Pali Hill area. The property, spanning nearly 7,800 sq ft, came with a hefty price tag of approximately Rs 103 crore.

In conclusion, as the real estate market witnesses a surge in high-profile transactions, it's evident that Mumbai's luxury properties continue to allure the crème de la crème of Bollywood. With celebrities like Sonakshi Sinha making significant investments, the city's real estate landscape is set for exciting times ahead.
