Synopsis

Shreya Ghoshal and her parents have purchased a premium apartment in Mumbai's Worli for INR 29.70 crore. The unit is located in the Godrej Trilogy project and offers a carpet area of around 2,430 sq ft along with three parking spaces. The deal was registered recently and involved a stamp duty payment of about INR 1.78 crore. The transaction reflects steady demand for luxury housing in Worli, which continues to attract high-net-worth buyers due to its central location and connectivity.

Shreya Ghoshal, along with her parents Shamishtha Ghoshal and Biswajit Ghoshal, has acquired a luxury residential apartment in Worli, Mumbai, for INR 29.70 crore, as per property registration records reviewed by Square Yards. The transaction has been officially registered in the past week.

The apartment is part of the premium Godrej Trilogy residential project, developed by Godrej Properties. The unit has a carpet area of approximately 2,430 sq ft and a total built-up area of about 2,750 sq ft, indicating a spacious layout typical of high-end developments in central Mumbai. The property also includes three dedicated car parking spaces, which is a key feature in luxury residential transactions in the city.

Financial details of the deal show that a stamp duty of around INR 1.78 crore was paid, along with registration charges of INR 30,000. The per sq ft pricing for such projects in Worli continues to remain at the higher end of Mumbai's residential market, supported by limited supply and strong demand.

Worli has consistently emerged as one of Mumbai's preferred luxury housing destinations due to its strategic location. It offers connectivity through major routes such as the Bandra Worli Sea Link, Annie Besant Road and access to the Western Express Highway. This connectivity reduces travel time to key business districts like Lower Parel and Bandra-Kurla Complex, making it attractive for both end-users and investors.

In the past few years, the locality has witnessed several high-value residential transactions involving celebrities and high-net-worth individuals. The presence of sea-facing apartments, premium amenities and proximity to commercial hubs has supported steady price appreciation in the area.

The purchase by the Ghoshal family reflects an ongoing trend where established buyers continue to invest in large-format homes in central Mumbai despite high ticket sizes. It also highlights continued activity in the luxury segment, even as overall housing markets in some cities have shown mixed trends due to supply constraints.
