Magicpin has introduced an AI assistant named Vera to support restaurants and retailers with real-time insights on order volumes and operational planning. The tool has already onboarded over 1,00,000 businesses during its trial phase. The company advanced the launch in response to an LPG supply disruption affecting food delivery partners across India, offering immediate AI-based support. With an investment of USD 1 million in its AI stack, magicpin aims to improve digital visibility, customer engagement and conversions for small businesses operating on tight margins.
Magicpin has launched its AI assistant, Vera, aimed at helping restaurants and retailers track real-time order demand and plan their operations more efficiently. The feature is designed to provide actionable insights that can support businesses in managing supply, staffing and customer demand more effectively.
The rollout follows a trial phase where more than 1,00,000 restaurants and retailers were onboarded onto the platform. The company decided to advance the launch timeline due to a recent LPG supply disruption that impacted food delivery partner restaurants across the country. Vera was used during this period to provide real-time, AI-based operational support to affected businesses.
Anshoo Sharma, CEO and co-founder of magicpin, stated that Vera functions as a growth engine that not only manages a merchant's digital presence but also contributes to measurable business outcomes. He added that early results showed a 1.5 to 2 times increase in visibility, up to three times growth in customer actions, and a noticeable improvement in conversion to paying customers.
magicpin has committed an investment of USD 1 million towards building its AI capabilities, with Vera being a key component of this initiative. The broader AI stack is aimed at addressing challenges faced by small and mid-sized businesses, particularly those operating with limited margins and resources.
The move also aligns with a wider trend in the food delivery and retail ecosystem, where platforms are increasingly integrating AI tools to optimise demand forecasting, improve customer engagement and support merchant partners. With rising competition in the online commerce space, such tools are becoming critical for businesses looking to scale their digital presence.
