Construction activity across the Amaravati Government Complex is moving ahead, with senior officials closely monitoring progress and quality. The Managing Director of Amaravati Growth and Infrastructure Corporation Limited reviewed ongoing work at HOD Tower-4, residential bungalows for ministers and secretaries, and the Quantum Computing Center. The review focused on construction timelines, adherence to quality standards, and material usage. Officials and contractors were directed to meet set targets without compromising on execution standards. The developments are part of the broader effort to strengthen administrative and technology infrastructure in the capital region.
Amaravati Growth and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (AGICL) Managing Director SVR Srinivas recently conducted a detailed review of construction work at HOD Tower-4 and the residential bungalows being developed for ministers and secretaries within the Amaravati Government Complex (AGC).
During the visit, the Managing Director formally initiated the diagrid structural work for HOD Tower-4, marking a key stage in the building's construction. The project forms an important part of the administrative infrastructure planned for the capital city. He held discussions with contractors and engineering teams overseeing the execution of these projects to assess the current pace of work and identify any gaps.
Srinivas instructed officials and engineering staff to ensure that construction is completed within the defined timelines while maintaining strict quality standards. He emphasized that all work should align with the prescribed targets and directed teams to be careful about the selection and use of construction materials across different structures.
The review also covered residential developments within the complex, including bungalows designated for ministers and senior government officials. Progress at these sites was assessed to ensure readiness in line with the broader development schedule of the government complex.
In addition, the Managing Director inspected the ongoing construction of the Quantum Computing Center (QCC) located in Amaravati-Uddandarayunipalem. He reviewed the pace of work at the site and provided suggestions to officials to improve execution and ensure steady progress. The QCC is expected to support advanced technology initiatives and strengthen the region's capabilities in emerging sectors.
The Amaravati Government Complex has been under phased development, with multiple administrative, residential, and institutional projects planned to create a fully functional capital ecosystem. Regular monitoring by senior officials reflects an effort to maintain momentum after earlier delays and ensure that key infrastructure is delivered as planned.
