The Bhumi Pooja and foundation stone laying ceremony for the upcoming Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Amaravati took place on Wednesday morning. The event was led by Swami Swaroopananda, the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, who conducted the traditional Bhumi Pooja and officially laid the foundation stone for the new educational institution.


The programme saw the presence of Minister Nadendla Manohar and local MLA Tenali Sravan Kumar, who expressed their support for the establishment of the school in the capital city. The Chinmaya Vidyalaya is planned to be developed on a 3-acre site in Nelapadu, Amaravati, and is expected to enhance the educational infrastructure of the region.

Senior officials and representatives associated with both the institution and the Amaravati Capital Region were present at the ceremony. During the event, APCRDA Additional Commissioner A. Bhargava Teja IAS also inspected the layouts related to the implementation of the Negotiated Settlement Policy in Mandam village. Officials briefed the attendees on the details of the respective layouts through maps and explanations, providing clarity on the execution process.

The ceremony emphasized the commitment to providing quality educational facilities in the capital region, with the school expected to serve as a significant addition to the area's academic landscape.
