Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India (MHRIL) has signed a 110-key resort in Dapoli near Murud Beach, marking a further expansion of its presence along Maharashtra's coastline. The first phase of 52 keys is scheduled for launch in Q1 FY27, with the remaining inventory set to open in Q2 FY27. The addition forms part of the company's FY26-FY30 growth roadmap, under which it plans to exceed 10,000 keys under the Club Mahindra brand and scale its overall portfolio to 12,000 keys. The move reflects MHRIL's strategy of strengthening inventory in high-demand leisure destinations, catering to India's expanding base of holidaying families and growing domestic travel demand.
Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India (MHRIL) has expanded its coastal leisure portfolio with the signing of a new 110-key resort in Dapoli, located near Murud Beach in Maharashtra. The development strengthens the company's presence along the state's western seaboard, a region that has witnessed steady demand for domestic holiday destinations.
The first phase of the project will comprise 52 keys and is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of FY27. The remaining inventory is expected to open in the second quarter of the same financial year, according to a company statement.
Manoj Bhat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of MHRIL, stated that the addition of Dapoli enhances the company's western coast circuit and aligns with its strategy of adding quality inventory in destinations witnessing strong demand from India's growing segment of holidaying families.
The resort forms part of MHRIL's broader FY26-FY30 expansion roadmap. Under this plan, the company is targeting more than 10,000 keys under its Club Mahindra brand, while scaling its overall portfolio to 12,000 keys.
The move underlines the company's continued focus on strengthening its domestic leisure footprint, particularly in accessible coastal destinations that offer proximity to major urban centres such as Mumbai and Pune. With phased launches planned over FY27, the Dapoli resort is expected to contribute to MHRIL's medium-term capacity growth objectives.
