Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has recorded revenue exceeding INR 1,000 crore in the financial year 2025-26, more than three times its previous year's earnings, mainly driven by commercial auctions and better asset monetisation. The board plans new residential housing projects across Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Alwar, Kotputli, Bhiwadi, Khori Kalan, Shahjahanpur and parts of the NCR belt, including Pushkar. Initiatives also focus on improving infrastructure, managing unsold inventory, and maintaining affordability. RHB continues to prioritise EWS and LIG segments while exploring partnerships and institutional reforms to strengthen asset protection.

The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has reported its highest revenue to date in the financial year 2025-26, crossing INR 1,000 crore. This is more than triple the revenue achieved in the previous year. The growth comes primarily from commercial auctions, monetisation of existing land and properties, and improved operational efficiency. These measures have strengthened the board's finances, allowing for faster project planning and implementation.


RHB is preparing a new series of residential housing schemes across multiple regions. The board has identified land for developments in Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Kotputli, Bhiwadi, Khori Kalan, Shahjahanpur, and Alwar, with some projects ready for launch and others in planning stages. The focus remains on affordable and mid-income housing, catering to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Low-Income Groups (LIG), and middle-income buyers, ensuring a balance between inclusivity and demand-driven development.

In the past year, around 14 new schemes were launched after a period of limited activity. These schemes drew strong response from buyers in Jaipur and other districts including Barmer, Baran, Dholpur, Bhiwadi, Alwar, and Udaipur. RHB observed demand across all segments, indicating sustained interest in both affordable and premium categories.

Infrastructure development is integrated with these residential schemes. Roads, electrification, sewerage, and community facilities are included in planning to ensure complete township development. Commercial plots within colonies continue to be auctioned, generating additional revenue that supports the board's self-sustaining financial model.

Land prices have been revised by up to 26 percent in some areas as part of an annual review. Despite rising costs of land and construction materials across the industry, RHB has maintained competitive pricing. Payment terms have also been made more flexible for higher-value categories, allowing buyers to pay in more instalments than before.

Since its inception, RHB has delivered approximately 2.65 lakh homes, predominantly in EWS and LIG categories. While premium projects, particularly in Jaipur, receive visibility, the board has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive housing.

To reduce unsold inventory, the board has implemented targeted outreach and a weekly auction platform to engage buyers effectively. Older unsold units are being reviewed individually, with pricing adjustments or other measures taken where necessary to encourage sales.

RHB is also moving forward with plans to strengthen asset protection. It has proposed creating a dedicated enforcement wing to safeguard land and property assets, a measure currently under consideration by the government and Finance Department. The board expects approvals and progress on this initiative in the next financial year.
