Out of the total alignment, around 11 km will be developed as an elevated stretch. This section will connect the DND-Ballabhgarh bypass to the airport corridor that links to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The elevated portion is being planned to ensure smooth traffic flow in areas where urban development is expected to increase over the coming years.

The additional cost for constructing this elevated segment has been estimated at INR 689.24 crore. The Haryana government has agreed to contribute INR 450 crore towards the development of this section, as the corridor passes through parts of the state and is expected to support regional development there.

Planning authorities have noted that the route also runs through zones identified under the Faridabad Master Plan 2031 for future urban growth. Improved road connectivity to the airport is expected to support residential, commercial and logistics activity in these areas over time.
