Synopsis

Electric commercial vehicle manufacturer Euler Motors has entered into a strategic partnership with Jio-bp to improve EV charging infrastructure across major logistics hubs in India. The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, focuses on identifying high-usage fleet locations where charging facilities are most needed. By aligning vehicle deployment with charging availability, the partnership aims to address operational challenges faced by commercial EV users. Jio-bp's expanding national charging network and Euler's fleet presence are expected to support smoother EV adoption in the logistics and last-mile delivery segments.

Electric commercial vehicle maker Euler Motors has partnered with energy and mobility solutions provider Jio-bp to strengthen electric vehicle charging infrastructure across important logistics and commercial hubs in India. The collaboration has been formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, under which both companies will work together to support the growing needs of electric commercial vehicle fleets.

As part of the agreement, Euler Motors and Jio-bp will jointly identify locations with high fleet movement and charging demand, particularly in logistics parks, transport corridors, and urban delivery hubs. The focus is on deploying charging infrastructure in areas where commercial EV usage is already increasing and where reliable access to charging remains a key operational requirement.

Jio-bp currently operates a nationwide EV charging network with close to 7,000 charging points across more than 1,000 locations. The network includes high-capacity fast chargers, including units capable of delivering up to 480 kW, designed to reduce charging time for commercial vehicles that operate on tight delivery schedules. This infrastructure is expected to support fleet operators who require predictable turnaround times and minimal downtime.

According to Jio-bp's leadership, partnerships with vehicle manufacturers are essential to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in the commercial segment. The company has indicated that aligning infrastructure deployment with actual fleet demand allows charging networks to be more effective and commercially viable, particularly for logistics and last-mile delivery operators.

Euler Motors management stated that access to dependable charging infrastructure remains one of the most critical factors influencing commercial EV adoption. The company views the partnership as a step toward addressing real-world challenges faced by fleet customers, including route planning, vehicle utilisation, and operational efficiency.

The collaboration builds on broader efforts by both companies to support India's transition toward cleaner transportation. Euler Motors has been expanding its electric commercial vehicle presence in urban logistics, while Jio-bp has steadily scaled up its EV charging footprint across highways, cities, and industrial zones. Together, the companies aim to improve charging availability in areas where commercial EV demand is concentrated, supporting sustained growth of electric mobility in the logistics sector.
