Synopsis

WeWork India Management Ltd has leased 46,000 sq ft of managed office space to Turner International India at its Airoli centre in Mumbai, accommodating more than 650 desks. The space has been launched as a fully managed office, underscoring continued occupier preference for flexible and plug-and-play workplace formats. Turner International India is the Indian arm of Turner Construction Company, a North America-based construction services firm, and the transaction highlights the role of managed workspaces in supporting project-driven and scalable operations. The deal also reflects the growing appeal of the Navi Mumbai & Thane office corridor, where Airoli has emerged as a cost-efficient alternative to traditional business districts, supported by improving connectivity and a widening commercial base. For WeWork India, the leasing reinforces steady demand from multinational occupiers seeking operational agility without long-term real estate commitments.

WeWork India Management Ltd has provided 46,000 sq ft of office space on lease to Turner International India at its co-working facility in Airoli, Mumbai, according to a regulatory filing made earlier this week. The leased area comprises over 650 desks and has been launched as a managed office space tailored to the occupier's requirements.

Turner International India operates as the Indian arm of Turner Construction Company, a North America-based construction services company. The move indicates sustained demand from engineering and construction-linked firms for flexible and managed office solutions that allow rapid scaling and cost control.

The Airoli micro-market, part of the broader Navi Mumbai Thane office corridor, has gained traction among occupiers due to relatively lower rentals, availability of quality office stock, and improving transport infrastructure. Managed workspace formats in this location are increasingly being adopted for project teams and regional operations.

Launched in 2017, WeWork India is among the leading flexible workspace operators in the country. As of December 2025, the company had 73 operational centres across eight cities Chennai, New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad spanning a total portfolio of 8.2 million sq ft.
