Synopsis

South India-based residential developer Casagrand Premier Builder Limited has expanded its operational footprint in western India with the inauguration of a development office in Mumbai. Located in Lower Parel, the new office is intended to serve as a strategic base for the company's growing focus on Maharashtra, where it already has an ongoing residential project in Pune. The inauguration was attended by Shaina NC and the company's Chairman and Managing Director Arun Mn, along with senior leadership. Casagrand, which has built a portfolio of more than 180 projects across India and Dubai, has traditionally been concentrated in southern markets. The Mumbai office reflects its long-term intent to deepen engagement with western India's real estate ecosystem, including consultants, partners and homebuyers, while strengthening operational execution in the region.

Casagrand Premier Builder Limited has inaugurated a development office in Mumbai, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy beyond its core southern markets. The office is located on the 11th floor of Tower B at Peninsula Business Park, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel, positioning the company within one of Mumbai's established commercial districts.

The inauguration was carried out by Shaina NC in the presence of Arun Mn, Chairman and Managing Director of Casagrand Premier Builder Limited, and members of the senior management team. With this move, the company aims to create a dedicated operational base to oversee and support its activities in Maharashtra and the wider western India region.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Chennai, Casagrand has focused on residential development across apartments and independent villas in luxury, mid-end and affordable segments. Over the past two decades, the developer has built a portfolio of more than 180 projects, accounting for over 88 million sq ft of development, spread across Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Pune and Dubai. According to a report by CBRE, Casagrand emerged as the largest residential developer in Chennai between January 2017 and June 2025, underlining its scale and execution capabilities in its home market.

The company has already established a presence in Maharashtra through its ongoing residential project, Casagrand Caladium, located near Upper Kharadi in Pune. The newly opened Mumbai development office is expected to strengthen coordination with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders, while enabling closer monitoring of projects and market opportunities in the state.

Arun Mn indicated that the Mumbai office would enhance the company's ability to collaborate locally and improve operational agility. He added that the decision to set up a development office in Mumbai reflected Casagrand's confidence in the long-term growth prospects of western India and its commitment to building a sustained presence in the region.

As Casagrand looks to replicate its southern India operating model in western markets, the Mumbai office is likely to play a central role in market research, project planning and execution. The company intends to leverage this base to deepen its understanding of Maharashtra's real estate dynamics and extend its product-driven approach and delivery discipline to homebuyers across the region.
