Synopsis

Transrail Lighting has won new domestic EPC contracts worth INR 2,350 crore, mainly in the transmission and distribution segment, along with civil and poles and lighting works. With these additions, the company's FY26 order inflows have crossed INR 7,980 crore. The latest transmission orders largely involve 765 kV lines, indicating strong execution capability. The company also remains the lowest bidder for projects exceeding INR 800 crore and continues to see a healthy bidding pipeline across domestic and international markets.

Transrail Lighting has secured new Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) orders worth INR 2,350 crore in the domestic market, further strengthening its execution pipeline. The fresh contracts are largely from the transmission and distribution segment, along with one civil engineering order and selective wins in poles and lighting works.

Following these additions, the company's cumulative order inflows for FY26 have moved beyond INR 7,980 crore, as disclosed in a regulatory filing. The transmission and distribution portion of the new orders mainly involves the construction of 765 kV transmission lines, a segment that typically demands high technical capability and execution scale.

The management indicated that the mix of large transmission projects along with civil and poles and lighting contracts reflects the company's competitive standing in the domestic infrastructure space. It also pointed out that the latest wins have taken the current financial year's inflows past the INR 7,980 crore mark.

In addition to confirmed orders, the company currently holds the lowest bidder position for projects valued at over INR 800 crore. It also continues to maintain a strong bidding pipeline across both domestic and overseas markets.

Based in Mumbai, Transrail Lighting operates as an EPC player across transmission and distribution, civil construction, railways, poles and lighting. Over the years, it has built an international presence spanning 63 countries, alongside its expanding domestic footprint.
