Apple has announced the opening of its new Apple Borivali store, which will be its sixth outlet in India and second in Mumbai. The store is scheduled to open on February 26 and follows the company's recent expansion across key cities such as Bengaluru, Pune, and Noida. The Borivali location features Apple's peacock-inspired visual design seen at its newer stores. The outlet is expected to serve consumers as well as startups and businesses, strengthening Apple's retail footprint in India.
Apple has revealed the store barricade for its upcoming Apple Borivali outlet, marking its sixth retail store in India and its second location in Mumbai. The development further strengthens the company's physical retail presence in the country, where demand for Apple products has steadily increased over the past few years.
The iPhone maker had entered India's physical retail space by opening its first store in Mumbai and another in New Delhi in 2023. This was followed by a wider expansion phase in 2025, when the company launched Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, and later added a store in Noida. These openings reflected Apple's strategy of establishing flagship-style outlets in major urban and technology-driven markets.
Apple has confirmed that the Borivali store will open on February 26. The newly installed barricade at the location carries a peacock-inspired visual identity, a design language that was first introduced with the opening of Apple Hebbal and subsequently carried forward at the Pune and Noida stores. The visual theme focuses on strong detailing and a sense of presence, aligning with Apple's global retail design approach.
According to the company, the Borivali store is expected to cater not only to consumers but also to a growing base of startups and businesses in the western suburbs of Mumbai. Apple's retail stores in India typically offer direct product sales, technical support through the Genius Bar, and training sessions, helping the company build deeper engagement with customers beyond online channels.
