The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced a new residential plot scheme near the upcoming Noida International Airport, offering 973 plots across three sectors. The scheme includes plots of multiple sizes and follows a reservation structure for farmers affected by land acquisition and for industrialists operating units in Yamuna City. The remaining plots are available for the general public through a draw-based allotment process. Applicants are required to deposit 10 percent of the plot cost as registration money. The scheme is part of YEIDA's planned residential development around the airport region.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has introduced a new residential plot scheme in areas located close to the Noida International Airport. Under this scheme, YEIDA is offering a total of 973 residential plots spread across Sectors 15C, 18 and 24A, which fall within the Yamuna Expressway development area. The authority has planned multiple plot sizes to cater to different housing requirements, including plots measuring 162 square metres, 183 square metres, 184 square metres, 200 square metres, 223 square metres and 290 square metres.
As per the scheme structure, 17.5 percent of the total plots have been reserved for farmers whose land was acquired by the authority, while 5 percent of the plots are earmarked for industrialists who have operational industrial units in Yamuna City. The remaining 77.5 percent of the plots are open for allotment to the general public. YEIDA has stated that allotment under the scheme will be carried out through a lucky draw system.
Applicants interested in participating in the scheme are required to submit 10 percent of the total plot cost as registration money at the time of application. The authority is in the process of obtaining approval from the real estate regulatory authority, which is mandatory before registrations and allotments can be formally completed. Possession of the plots will be offered after the allotment process is concluded and necessary approvals are in place.
The launch of this scheme comes at a time when residential and land development activity has been steadily increasing along the Yamuna Expressway corridor. The area has seen growing interest from end-users and investors due to infrastructure projects, including the international airport, industrial zones and planned urban development. In the past, YEIDA has launched multiple residential and institutional plot schemes in this region as part of its long-term plan to create a structured urban hub around the airport.
