Swedish Logistic Property AB has entered into a new lease agreement with online pharmacy Meds Apotek for a logistics facility in Eskilstuna, strengthening its presence in Sweden's regional logistics market. The agreement covers a total lettable area of 19,300 square metres and has a lease tenure of five and a half years.
The property will be used to support Meds Apotek's warehousing and distribution operations, reflecting the continued demand for modern logistics space driven by e-commerce and pharmaceutical supply chains. Eskilstuna has emerged as an important logistics hub due to its central location, strong road and rail connectivity, and proximity to the Stockholm region.
Swedish Logistic Property has been actively expanding its portfolio of logistics and light industrial assets across Sweden, focusing on long-term leases with stable tenants. Meds Apotek, which operates primarily as a digital pharmacy, has been scaling its logistics infrastructure to ensure faster deliveries and improved service coverage across the country.
The lease adds to Swedish Logistic Property's contracted rental income and supports its strategy of securing predictable cash flows through medium- to long-term agreements with creditworthy occupiers.
