A B Infrabuild Limited has secured an INR 48.58 crore contract from East Coast Railways for the construction of a road overbridge in Odisha's Khurda Road railway division. The project involves replacing an existing level crossing between IPM and JPI stations on the KUR-PSA main line. The scope includes multiple composite and T-beam girders, along with approach roads, retaining walls, and drainage works. The contract has a completion timeline of 24 months and adds to the company's ongoing railway infrastructure portfolio.

The road overbridge will replace level crossing number 334 located between IPM and JPI stations on the KUR PSA main railway line under the Khurda Road division. The project is aimed at improving rail and road coordination in the area by removing the existing level crossing, which is a known point of traffic interruption and safety concern.
The scope of work includes the construction of one 36-metre composite girder, two 24-metre composite girders, and four 18.75-metre T-beam girders. In addition to the bridge structure, the contract also covers the development of approach roads and service roads on both sides. Retaining wall construction and a complete drainage system form part of the work package, indicating that the project includes both structural and supporting civil infrastructure.
The total contract value stands at INR 48.58 crore. As per the terms outlined by East Coast Railways, the project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the date of commencement. The work will be executed in accordance with Indian Railways technical and safety standards.
A B Infrabuild has been involved in civil construction projects across roads, bridges, and railway infrastructure. In the past, the company has undertaken similar railway-related works, and this latest contract strengthens its presence in public sector infrastructure execution, particularly in eastern India.
