Synopsis

Adani Group's solar, wind and green hydrogen businesses recorded a strong operational year, marked by manufacturing milestones, technology certifications and first-of-its-kind projects in India. Adani Solar crossed 15,000 MW in cumulative module shipments, while Adani Wind exceeded 1 GW of installations of its largest onshore turbine. Adani New Industries Limited commissioned India's first off-grid 5 MW green hydrogen pilot plant powered entirely by solar energy and battery storage. These developments aligned with India's rapid renewable energy expansion and growing global clean-energy supply realignment.

The Adani Group's solar, wind and green hydrogen businesses delivered a year of accelerated execution and capacity growth, reinforcing their role in India's clean energy manufacturing landscape. The group's performance came amid rising domestic demand for renewables, national capacity expansion targets and changing global supply chains.

Adani Solar crossed 15,000 MW of cumulative module shipments, becoming the first Indian manufacturer to achieve this scale at such speed. The company expanded its retail presence to over 550 districts across the country, strengthening access in both utility-scale and distributed solar markets. It also secured TV Rheinland certification for long-term module reliability under IEC 63209-1:2021, highlighting durability and performance standards.

The solar arm earned its eighth consecutive Kiwa PVEL Top Performer ranking and featured in global benchmarks such as Wood Mackenzie's Global Top 10 Photovoltaic Module Manufacturers for 2025 and BloombergNEF's Tier-1 rating during the third quarter of the year. These recognitions came at a time when the solar manufacturing sector faced pricing volatility and tighter sustainability expectations.

In wind energy, Adani Wind crossed 1 GW of installations of India's largest onshore wind turbine. The company consolidated its manufacturing position by securing an external order book of 304 MW from independent power producers and set a target of 2.5 GW of internal deliveries to Adani Green Energy Limited in FY2026.

Manufacturing progress included the rollout of the 300th nacelle, record-time completion of the 500th blade and the indigenisation of India's largest wind-turbine main shaft through a partnership with Larsen & Toubro. The wind business also expanded its global footprint with its first export shipment of anti-icing blades to Europe, completed 60-hertz design adaptations for the United States, and prepared for entry into markets such as Australia, Brazil, the Philippines and Vietnam.

In green hydrogen, Adani New Industries Limited commissioned India's first off-grid 5 MW pilot plant in Kutch. The facility operates entirely on solar power supported by a battery energy storage system and uses a fully automated, closed-loop electrolyser designed to respond to renewable power fluctuations. The project is seen as a model for decentralised green hydrogen production in regions with high renewable potential.

Across its clean energy units, the group focused on skills development, operational efficiency and sustainability practices. Teams from Adani Solar and Adani Wind received multiple national quality and safety awards, while Adani Solar was recognised with the ESG Transparency Award for excellence in sustainability and governance by EUPD Research.
