The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is preparing to resume registrations for 1,487 residential plots under its Anantnagar Housing Scheme along Mohan Road, pending final clearance from the property department. These RERA-registered plots are spread across multiple sectors and sized between 112.5 sq m and 450 sq m, targeting middle and upper-income buyers. The online registration dates will be announced soon through the LDA portal. The scheme aims to provide a structured residential option in a growing corridor of Lucknow, continuing the development seen in earlier phases of Anantnagar plots.
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to reopen the registration process for 1,487 residential plots under the Anantnagar Housing Scheme on Mohan Road after the proposal from its engineering division received the property department's approval. Once the final clearance is obtained, the Authority will announce online registration dates through its portal, allowing buyers to apply from anywhere in the city or state.
The plots are registered with the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA), ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory standards. They are planned for middle and upper-income groups and are distributed across several colonies including Akash Khand, Aalekh Khand, Ashish Khand, Aabhas Khand, Alok Khand, Adarsh Khand, Aditya Khand, and Aamod Khand.
Sector-wise, Sector-1 consists of 617 plots ranging from compact 112.5 sq m to larger 450 sq m sizes. Sector-3 includes 377 plots with similar variety in size, while Sector-5 comprises 493 plots tailored for diverse buyer needs. The differentiation in plot sizes is designed to cater to different budget ranges and household requirements, making it suitable for both individual buyers and families looking for a permanent residence.
The LDA's online registration system is expected to make the allotment process efficient and accessible. Buyers will be able to submit their applications digitally, and the Authority is likely to conduct a lottery or merit-based allocation, following the procedure adopted in earlier Anantnagar phases. This digital approach ensures fair participation and reduces physical paperwork, which has been a key concern in previous land allotment drives.
The Anantnagar project is part of LDA's larger effort to develop Mohan Road as a key residential corridor in Lucknow. Earlier phases of the scheme saw strong participation, reflecting the growing demand for planned residential plots in the area. The road itself connects to major urban centers and offers increasing access to civic amenities, schools, hospitals, and commercial hubs, enhancing the appeal of these plots for potential homeowners.
This resumption also provides another opportunity for those who missed the initial phases to secure plots in a regulated and well-planned residential project. The Authority continues to focus on transparent allotment and compliance with UP RERA norms, aiming to support Lucknow's expanding housing market while maintaining affordability and accessibility.
