According to an article published in TOI, the complainant Paramjeey Singh Arora is said to have been a business associate of the realty firm for several years. In April 2016, Mr Arora made payments to purchase 15 residential flats in Nirman Serene located in Undri and one retail shop and a residential flat in Nirman Estrella located in Kondhwa. Both projects were being developed by Nirman Corporation. However, Nirman Corporation sold the retail shop promised to Mr Arora to another buyer and instead offered four residential flats in the same Estrella scheme. Both projects have since been delayed and stalled.
Mr Arora told TOI he tried to initiate cancellations for all flats booked with the realty firm but in vain. He alleges that the company is neither returning his money, nor being able to meet this promised delivery schedules. As a result he was left with no option but to approach the EOW. TOI made several attempts to contact the firms directors but there has been no official response to them or with any other publications regarding the case. According to EOW officials, MahaRERA authorities have granted extensions to the Undri project which is presently under construction.
