The new premises of KingMakers IAS Academy in Anna Nagar, Chennai, were inaugurated by former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, in the presence of Shri G.K. Vasan, Member of Parliament and former Union Minister for Shipping. Shri Kovind acknowledged the academy's 12-year journey of training civil service aspirants, highlighting its support for students from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds. The academy has produced over 1,000 civil servants, including two All India toppers and India's first fully visually challenged IFS officer. The event also saw the launch of the KingMakers Nation Builders Scholarship for deserving students.
Chennai saw the opening of the new KingMakers IAS Academy premises in Anna Nagar, inaugurated by former President Shri Ram Nath Kovind. Shri G.K. Vasan, Member of Parliament, President of Tamil Maanila Congress, and former Union Minister for Shipping, attended the event as the Guest of Honour, marking a significant milestone in the academy's 12-year history of civil service coaching.
Addressing the audience of civil service aspirants, faculty, and officials, Shri Kovind said that the new building represents more than just infrastructure; it reflects the dreams, dedication, and determination of students preparing to serve the nation. He appreciated the academy for its efforts to empower students from rural and socially disadvantaged backgrounds, pointing out that over 1,000 civil servants have been trained here. Among its notable achievements are two All India toppers, five Tamil Nadu toppers, and Ms N.L. Beno Zephine, who became India?s first 100 percent visually challenged IFS officer.
Shri Kovind encouraged aspirants to view civil services as a mission rather than just a career. He referred to Mahatma Gandhi's belief that the best way to find oneself is through the service of others and cited Swami Vivekananda's call to "arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached," urging students to remain focused, determined, and committed to serving the country with integrity and empathy.
During the event, KingMakers IAS Academy also announced the launch of the KingMakers Nation Builders Scholarship, which will provide up to 100 percent financial support to deserving civil service aspirants. This initiative reflects the academy's ongoing focus on inclusive education and commitment to creating opportunities for talented students who may face financial challenges.
Founded with the motto "We Teach, You Reach," KingMakers IAS Academy has trained over 20,000 students across India and produced numerous IAS, IPS, and IFS officers. Its presence spans multiple cities, including Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Namakkal, Salem, Pondicherry, and Thanjavur, reflecting its continuous growth and dedication to nurturing future civil servants.
