Sarovar Hotels has signed a new property in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with Prime Land Estates. The 100-key Sarovar Portico Gwalior hotel is scheduled to open in 2029. This marks a step in Sarovar Hotels' expansion in Central India, targeting growth in tourism and business travel. The project aims to combine modern amenities with regional heritage, contributing to the hospitality sector in Gwalior.
Sarovar Hotels has recently signed an agreement for a new hotel property. The company announced this on Monday, July 7, concerning a project in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This move aims to expand its presence in Central India, undertaken in collaboration with a real estate partner.
The new property will be named Sarovar Portico Gwalior. It will feature 100 rooms and is scheduled to open in 2029. The hotel is being developed in collaboration with Prime Land Estates.
Sarovar Hotels stated that this signing marks a step in its expansion in Central India. Rajesh Ranjan, Senior Vice President - Development for Sarovar Hotels, reportedly said that this move underscores their focus on expanding in Central India, a region where they see potential for tourism and business travel.
He also added that Sarovar Portico Gwalior will offer travelers a blend of contemporary amenities and the essence of the region's heritage. The development of new hotels reflects growth in tourism and business travel, contributing to the local economy and hospitality sector.
