The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) is preparing to launch the second phase of the Purab Premium Apartments project, which will feature 550 apartments. In an announcement made by GMADA officials, it was stated that interested individuals would have approximately one month to submit their applications, as the scheme is set to open on June 30 and close on July 31.

Rajiv Kumar Gupta, the Chief Administrator of GMADA, revealed that the authority is offering a total of 550 apartments in this phase. These apartments include 130 type-I units (one BHK) priced at Rs 54 lakh, 200 type-II units (2-BHK) priced at Rs 80 lakh, and 220 type-III units (3-BHK) priced at Rs 1.01 crore.

The apartments available for allocation in this phase are fully constructed and ready for occupancy. However, possession will only be granted upon payment of 25% of the total price. One of the notable features of these apartments is that they are north-east facing and have open spaces on both sides, ensuring optimal cross ventilation and natural lighting throughout the day. The Purab Premium Apartments project spans across 37 acres, boasts a central location, and offers easy accessibility to the international airport, district administrative complex, as well as renowned educational and health institutions.

Gupta highlighted the fact that this project is already home to more than 650 families who are currently benefiting from the range of facilities available. These include earthquake-resistant construction, electricity backup, 24-hour water supply, and recreational amenities such as a yoga and meditation hall. The project also provides sports facilities such as a lawn tennis court, skating rink, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, an all-weather swimming pool, and many more.

In order to facilitate the sale of scheme brochures and the acceptance of application forms, leading banks have been partnered with the project. Interested individuals can obtain brochures from the single-window service counter located in the PUDA Bhawan, Sector 62, Mohali, as well as from the associated banks.

It is worth noting that GMADA previously constructed 1,620 premium apartments in Sector 88 in 2017. These apartments were classified into three types (Type-I, Type-II, and Type-III). Out of the total number of units, 954 have already been allocated, with 590 individuals having taken possession of their respective apartments, while the remaining units have either been surrendered or are still unsold. The project consists of 27 towers, each comprising 60 flats. Currently, there are approximately 700 vacant flats in the Purab Premium Apartments project that are ready for occupancy, out of which applications are being invited for 550 flats in this second phase.
