Synopsis

Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd (HMPL), a diversified player in infrastructure and renewable energy, has secured a toll collection contract worth INR 23 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The order, won through an e-tendering process, appoints the company as the user fee collection agency at the Shrishikalan Fee Plaza on a recently upgraded stretch of NH-76 in Uttar Pradesh. The project, delivered under the EPC mode, enhances HMPL's growing portfolio in the roads sector and marks another milestone in its infrastructure development journey.

Infra-to-energy enterprise Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd (HMPL) has secured a significant order from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) valued at approximately INR 23 crore. The award, which was finalised through an e-tendering process, further strengthens the company's presence in India's infrastructure and toll operations sector.

As per an official exchange filing made by the company earlier this week, HMPL has received the Letter of Award (LOA) from NHAI to act as the user fee collection agency at the Shrishikalan Fee Plaza. The toll plaza is located at kilometre 193 on the Kabarai-Banda section of National Highway-76 in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The awarded project covers the toll collection for a highway stretch from km 178.00 to km 215.00, which has recently been rehabilitated and upgraded to a two-lane carriageway with paved shoulders. The work has been executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model, a mode that HMPL is increasingly becoming proficient in.

The total value of the toll collection contract is pegged at INR 22.995 crore. The company noted in its filing that it has been entrusted with the role of managing fee collection operations, highlighting its expanding operational portfolio across India's national highway network.

Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd has been actively involved in renewable energy and road construction projects. Over the past few years, the company has diversified its activities and undertaken various infrastructure assignments under the EPC framework. Its participation in national highway developments has seen an uptick, reflecting both the government's increased focus on infrastructure and HMPL's ability to scale up its execution capabilities.

This latest win adds momentum to HMPL's growth strategy as it continues to consolidate its position as a trusted contractor for public infrastructure. The company had previously undertaken road-building assignments across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, and its foray into toll operations in Uttar Pradesh marks a notable geographic expansion.

As India accelerates its infrastructure build-out under public-private partnerships, players like HMPL are well-positioned to capitalise on emerging opportunities. The deal signifies the firm's growing capabilities in managing multi-disciplinary projects and its strategic focus on scaling infrastructure assets across the country.
