Singer and TV personality Rahul Vaidya, along with his parents, has sold two residential apartments in Mumbai's Oshiwara area for a total of INR 5 crore. The flats, located in the Samartha Aangan project near Lokhandwala, were registered in April 2025. One unit measuring 1,102 sq. ft. sold for INR 3 crore, while the second, at 743 sq. ft., fetched INR 2 crore. Both deals included standard stamp duty and registration charges. Both apartments are located in Samartha Aangan, a ready-to-move residential project in Oshiwara, a bustling area in western Mumbai known for its proximity to the Lokhandwala Complex and its popularity among Bollywood celebrities.
The first apartment spans a built-up area of 102.41 square meters (approximately 1,102.38 square feet) and was sold for INR 3 crore. The transaction incurred a stamp duty payment of INR 18 lakh and registration charges of INR 30,000. The second apartment has a built-up area of 69.05 square meters (approximately 743.28 square feet) and was sold for INR 2 crore. The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of INR 12 lakh and registration charges of INR 30,000.
Rahul Vaidya rose to fame as the second runner-up in the first season of Indian Idol and has since established a successful career in music and television. He has released several hit songs, including tracks from his debut album "Tera Intezar," and has participated in various reality shows, such as "Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar," "Music Ka Maha Muqqabla," and "Bigg Boss 14," where he was the runner-up.
