NX India, a subsidiary of Nippon Express Holdings, has expanded its warehousing infrastructure in Haryana's Pataudi region and at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. These expansions align with the company's medium-term NX Group Business Plan 2028, which prioritises a stronger presence in the Indian market. The Pataudi facility has been extended to approximately 9,200 sq. m to cater to rising customer demand, while the Delhi airport warehouse and office space have been enlarged by 1.5 times to manage increased cargo volume. These upgraded facilities are expected to significantly improve logistics efficiency and customer responsiveness.
Nippon Express (India) Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., has expanded its warehouse facilities in Pataudi, Haryana, and at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. The move forms part of the company's medium-term NX Group Business Plan 2028, which outlines expanding its footprint in India as a strategic priority. This initiative includes opening new warehouses, upgrading existing logistics hubs, and improving supply chain networks.
The warehouse in Pataudi, located near Gurugram, was expanded earlier this year to approximately 9,200 square metres. This upgrade was carried out to address the growing demand from clients in the region. The facility is now equipped with advanced fire safety systems, including sprinklers and fire alarms, along with dock levelers and other modern infrastructure to ensure streamlined and secure operations. With the enhanced space, NX India aims to serve a wider customer base with improved operational efficiency.
Similarly, the warehouse located at Indira Gandhi International Airport underwent expansion in recent months. The facility, which handles airport transit cargo, supports removals operations and manages customs clearance, saw both its warehouse and office space increase by 1.5 times. This development comes as a response to the consistent surge in cargo volume passing through the airport. The upgraded infrastructure is expected to allow for quicker, more flexible service offerings tailored to diverse customer needs.
NX India's strengthened logistics network is a step towards supporting the broader vision of the NX Group to emerge as a globally recognised logistics leader. The company aims to leverage its global transportation network to offer integrated logistics services that enhance its clients' business capabilities across borders.
The upgrades are not only a tactical response to immediate volume growth but also part of a larger, calculated push to align with India's burgeoning role in global trade. As supply chains become increasingly central to economic growth, NX India's investments may prove vital in shaping the next phase of logistics efficiency in the region.
