Odisha's government is intensifying efforts to enhance urban development as part of its long-term vision for 2036. The meeting took place at Kharavela Bhavan and included key officials from the housing and urban development department, as well as municipal directors and representatives from development authorities.
During the meeting, officials discussed the implementation of town planning schemes in major cities like Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur, and the Puri-Konark region. These schemes aim to create well-structured urban environments that can accommodate the growing population and improve the quality of life for residents.
