The office will focus on consulting services, particularly technology and innovation, while also contributing to the state's digital transformation. With an emphasis on AI, data analytics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, the facility aims to deliver cutting-edge, scalable business solutions.
EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) has strengthened its presence in Tamil Nadu with the launch of its first office in Coimbatore, located at the KCT Tech Park. This move aligns with the organisation's strategy to tap into the region's abundant talent pool and its dynamic culture of technological advancement and entrepreneurship.
The launch event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Tamil Nadu's Minister for IT and Digital Services, Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, and EY GDS's Global Operations Leader, Manesh Patel. The ceremony featured a traditional lamp-lighting ritual, keynote speeches, a panel discussion on Coimbatore's potential as a hub for Global Capability Centres, a cultural performance by the EY GDS performing arts council, and a tree-planting initiative.
Coimbatore's thriving educational ecosystem, strong engineering talent, and entrepreneurial spirit make it an ideal location for EY GDS's expansion. The new office will primarily focus on consulting services, particularly technology and innovation, while also offering opportunities in tax and assurance. The establishment of this facility reflects EY GDS's broader strategy to expand its talent pool, enhance global technological capabilities, and drive transformation. The centre is set to become an integral part of EY GDS's expanding global network, delivering innovative and scalable business solutions.
