Bollywood actor and producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas has sold four residential apartments in Andheri West's Lokhandwala Complex for INR 16.17 crore. Among these, a duplex spanning the 18th and 19th floors fetched INR 6.35 crore. The deals were executed by her mother, Madhu Chopra, and registered earlier this week, incurring a cumulative stamp duty of INR 84.47 lakh. This follows her previous real estate sales in the same area, including two apartments to filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey for INR 6 crore in late 2023 and a commercial property for INR 7 crore earlier that year.

The apartments, spanning a total built-up area of 5,045 sq ft on the 18th and 19th floors of a high-rise, have been purchased by four different buyers. The transactions were officially registered earlier this week, incurring a combined stamp duty of INR 84.47 lakh, as per documents accessed via IndexTap(dot)com. The deals were executed by Priyanka's mother, Madhu Chopra, on her behalf.
This is not the first time Priyanka has divested her real estate holdings in Mumbai. In late 2023, she sold two apartments in the same locality to director, producer, and screenwriter Abhishek Chaubey for INR 6 crore. These two units, located on the ninth floor of another tower, collectively spanned nearly 2,300 sq ft.
Several Bollywood celebrities have made significant real estate investments in Andheri, particularly in the Lokhandwala Complex and surrounding areas. Ayushmann Khurrana recently acquired a property worth INR 20 crore in Windsor Grande Residences, spanning approximately 4,027 sq. ft. with four parking spaces. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan has expanded his holdings with an INR 31 crore property in the Atlantis Building and four apartments in the Signature Building for INR 29 crore. Akshay Kumar, known for his multiple properties in the area, previously sold an office space in Andheri West for INR 9 crore. Similarly, Sonu Nigam sold a 2,131 sq. ft. commercial unit for INR 7 crore in June 2024. Additionally, Sara Ali Khan and her mother, Amrita Singh, recently invested in two office spaces spanning nearly 4,200 sq. ft., further cementing Andheri's appeal as a prime real estate destination among celebrities.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas's steady divestment of her Mumbai real estate portfolio indicates a strategic shift in her investments, aligning with her permanent relocation to Los Angeles. While her recent sales highlight a preference for liquidating Indian assets, they also underscore the strong demand for premium properties in Mumbai's western suburbs.
