Panasonic Life Solutions India Private Limited has acquired a land parcel spanning 6,586.90 square metres (approximately 7,877.87 square yards) in Andheri East, Mumbai, valued at INR 160 crore, as per property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards.


Square Yards confirmed that the company has made a notable investment in Saki Vihar Road, Andheri East, Mumbai, by securing a prime land parcel worth INR 160 crore. This land was acquired from River Rose Developers LLP in the Andheri East area. The transaction was registered on January 29, 2025, with a stamp duty of INR 9.60 crore and a registration fee of INR 30,000.

SquareYards noted that Andheri East is a prominent commercial and residential hub in Mumbai. The area benefits from strong connectivity through the Western Express Highway and Metro Line 1, as well as proximity to both domestic and international airports.

The district also boasts a flourishing business environment, with notable landmarks such as SEEPZ, MIDC, and several corporate offices. Its well-developed social infrastructure includes reputed schools, hospitals, and entertainment facilities, while retail landmarks like Phoenix Market city and Infinity Mall enhance the lifestyle quotient.

In the past 12 months, Andheri East has seen 1,421 new sale transactions, amounting to a gross sales value of INR 2,247 crore. The average property rate was INR 37,778 per square foot, and the average rental price stood at INR 74.8 per square foot. Property prices in the area have increased by 3% on a year-on-year basis, as per Square Yards Intelligence.

Panasonic Life Solutions India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation, has been a leading player in India's electrical construction materials sector since 1963. The company offers various wiring devices, fans, lighting, solar equipment, switchgear, cables, and power tools. The company was acquired by Panasonic in 2007.
