However, despite this chance for clarification, the investigation so far has led to the discovery that at least four of these colonies were constructed without the required legal clearance.
It is important to note that the cases of illegal colonies were initially registered around two months ago, after complaints were raised regarding the unauthorised developments. Since then, the authorities have been working diligently to identify and investigate these cases. As a result, the district administration has taken firm legal action, including lodging First Information Reports (FIRs) against the colonisers involved in these illegal activities. The legal proceedings are a direct response to the violations and aim to hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
