These developments have been classified as illegal, and the authority has confirmed that actions against the offenders are currently in progress.
Furthermore, the authority is investigating several constructions in Kondli village and has requested a detailed report regarding these structures to determine the next steps.
Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M directed officials to check the construction permissions for a banquet hall and restaurant along the main road in Kondli village, which he noticed during an inspection last week. He also instructed the removal of unauthorized markets established on main roads and vacant lots in Kondli and asked for boundary markers to be installed.
In a public notice issued last month, the authority stated that unauthorized constructions, including multi-storey flat-style buildings, taking place on land in Khasra numbers 198, 199, and 168 in Wajidpur village are altering the nature of the land, adversely impacting Noida's planning, infrastructure development, and public interest.
Wajidpur village, a notorious area for illegal building activity, has been the focus of ongoing demolition drives by the authority.
The authority also warned the public against engaging in the purchase, sale, or any transactions related to the unauthorized constructions on the specified land, alerting them to potential exploitation by land mafias.
Previously, landowners of the affected parcels challenged the authority's demolition order issued in July in the Allahabad High Court. The court directed the authority to consider the objections raised by the petitioners within six weeks, ensuring that all stakeholders had an opportunity to voice their concerns. The court also prohibited the landowners from further constructing on the disputed site or establishing third-party interests.
Officials emphasized that any construction or plotting that contravenes the approved master plan or the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Area Development Act, 1976, is completely illegal.
