The Uttar Pradesh government has introduced a new e-auction scheme for institutional plots, aiming to boost the integrated development of Greater Noida. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is offering 13 plots across key sectors, including KP-05, MU, ETA-02, and Techzone-4, with a total reserve price of INR 170 crore. These plots, ranging from 1,000 to 10,005 square metres, are designated for schools, hospitals, vocational training centres, and other educational institutions. Applications are open until November 18, while the scheme also includes commercial shops, offices, and kiosks.
In an effort to promote the integrated development of Greater Noida, the Uttar Pradesh government unveiled a new e-auction scheme for institutional plots across various sectors. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has launched the scheme in prominent areas such as KP-05, MU, Sector 10, ETA-02, KP-01, and Techzone-4. A total of 13 institutional plots are available for bidding, with applications having opened last week.
An official spokesperson toddler reports at TNN that the plots are intended for the development of higher secondary schools, hospitals, nursing homes, paramedical and training institutes, vocational training centres, and other educational establishments. With a total reserve price set at INR 170 crore, this presents a major investment opportunity for institutional buyers. It was also noted that the authority is expediting the allotment process for 43 commercial shops, offices, and 20 dhabas and kiosks, alongside the institutional plots.
The spokesperson explained that the scheme offers plots ranging in size from 1,000 to 10,005 square metres, with the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority setting the reserve prices between INR 2.99 crore and INR 35.17 crore.
Officials highlighted that, in line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision, the e-auction scheme includes a variety of plots, with the largest and most expensive being plot HO-2 in the MU sector. This plot spans 10,005 square metres and has a reserve price of INR 35.17 crore. Another sizable plot, HO-2 in Sector 10, measures 4,439.50 square metres and is priced at INR 19.52 crore. Both plots are allocated for hospital development.
Officials also stated that plot NH-01 in ETA-02, covering 2,511.40 square metres, has been reserved for a nursing home and is priced at INR 10.70 crore. Similarly, plots 06 and 07 in Techzone-4, each measuring 2,000.27 square metres, are available with a reserve price of INR 5.99 crore, while plots 26 and 27 in the same area, each spanning 4,000.39 square metres, have a reserve price of INR 11.44 crore. It was also mentioned that the final date for submitting applications for this e-auction scheme is November 18.
This e-auction scheme presents a prime opportunity for institutional investors, supporting Greater Noida's growth while aligning with the state's vision for holistic development.
