Industries Minister TR B Rajaa announced on Saturday that the Tidel Neo Park, a mini IT park in Tuticorin, will soon be inaugurated by Chief Minister M K Stalin. Rajaa, accompanied by Social Welfare Minister P Geetha Jeevan, Collector K Elambahavath, and other officials, visited the park's site in Tuticorin. Rajaa explained that during the Covid-19 pandemic, many IT employees returned to their hometowns to work remotely. In response, Chief Minister Stalin initiated the mini-IT park project to provide opportunities for young professionals to work closer to their families.

The Tidel Neo Park, a mini-IT park in Tuticorin, was established at a cost of INR 30 crore, spanning 4.16 acres. This multi-storey facility offers 50,937 square feet of leasable, state-of-the-art workspace, complete with modern amenities such as air conditioning and an integrated building management system (IBMS). According to officials, 11 companies have already expressed interest in leasing space, with several inquiries and confirmations received. Last week, Industries Minister TR B Rajaa, accompanied by Social Welfare Minister P Geetha Jeevan, Collector K Elambahavath, and other officials, visited the site of the Tidel Neo Park in Tuticorin.
