However, they failed to deliver possession of the property, leaving the victim without the asset she believed she had purchased. The case has been registered against Sumit Jain, aged 39, who was recently murdered, along with real estate agent Vitthal Baban Nakde (43), Virendra Kadam (24), and Chandrakant Sawant (64).
According to the official, Sawant allegedly posed as the legitimate owner of the land, even though it actually belonged to someone else. The individuals involved have been charged under various sections pertaining to cheating, forgery, and criminal conspiracy, indicating the serious nature of the allegations. Despite the gravity of the situation, the police official mentioned that no arrests have been made in connection with this case so far, leaving the investigation ongoing as authorities work to uncover more details and hold those responsible accountable.
