Synopsis

Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan recently purchased two office spaces in Oshiwara, Mumbai, for over INR 22.26 crores, alongside her mother Amrita Singh. This investment follows her previous acquisition of an office in the same tower last year. Several other Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan, have also invested in properties there. The trend highlights the real estate market's appeal among high-net-worth individuals in the film industry.

Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan has made a notable investment by purchasing two office spaces in a commercial project located in the Oshiwara area of Mumbai's western suburb, Andheri. The total cost for these properties exceeds INR 22.26 crores.

Sara, along with her mother Amrita Singh, acquired these offices, each measuring approximately 2,099 sq ft, on the 9th floor of the building. They purchased the properties directly from the developer, Veer Savarkar Projects. For the registration of these transactions, the buyers paid a stamp duty of over INR 1.33 crore, as revealed by documents accessed through FloorTap.com. The agreement for each office is valued at INR 11.13 crore, and both spaces come with exclusive access to three car parking slots each.

This investment not only highlights Sara Ali Khan's growing portfolio in the real estate sector but also reflects the continuing appeal of commercial properties in Mumbai, particularly in areas like Oshiwara, which are becoming increasingly popular among investors.

Last year, the actor made a similar investment by acquiring an office of comparable size on the fourth floor of the same tower for INR 9 crore. Notably, other Bollywood figures, including Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, and Kartik Aryan, have also purchased office properties in this tower. Attempts to reach Sara Ali Khan for a comment were unsuccessful. Real estate continues to be a top choice for high-net-worth individuals, with many in the Bollywood industry investing in properties not just for personal use but also as a strategic investment. This trend underscores the growing interest among celebrities in securing assets within the real estate market.

A number of Bollywood actors, producers, and directors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai, have made significant investments in real estate. In recent years, there have also been reports of several high-end luxury property deals involving stars like Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukherjee, Alia Bhatt, Disha Patani, and Janhvi Kapoor. This trend highlights the growing inclination among Bollywood celebrities to invest in premium properties, further solidifying real estate as a lucrative venture within the industry.

Sara Ali Khan's recent investment in commercial real estate underscores a broader trend among Bollywood celebrities who are increasingly turning to property investments as both personal and strategic assets. With numerous high-profile figures joining the market, real estate continues to prove its allure, reflecting the confidence of high-net-worth individuals in the potential for lucrative returns in this sector. This growing trend may further shape the dynamics of Mumbai's real estate landscape.
