Despite issuing notices, the concerned individuals failed to take action, leading the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation's Encroachment Department to carry out demolition operations against unauthorized constructions in the Belapur division. This action was taken under the instructions of Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde and the guidance of Dr. Rahul Gethe.

In the Belapur division, within the jurisdiction of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, unauthorized constructions were started without any permission from the municipal corporation by Mr. Satish Tandel/Vijay Tandel at House No. 842, Karave Village, Navi Mumbai, and Mr. Parasnath R. Yadav at House No. 841/4, Karave Village, Navi Mumbai.

Notices under Section 54 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, were issued to the concerned individuals by the Belapur Office of Division A. The individuals were required to remove the unauthorized constructions themselves. However, they continued with the unauthorized construction.

As a result, under the supervision of Mr. Shashikant Tandel, Assistant Commissioner and Divisional Officer - Belapur, a demolition campaign was organized by the Division A Belapur Office, and the unauthorized constructions at the mentioned locations were demolished. A total of INR 50,000/- was recovered from the construction owners, with INR 25,000/- collected from each.

The demolition operation involved the participation of officials and staff, including Mr. Mayuresh Pawar (Junior Engineer), along with 10 workers, 2 hammers, 1 gas cutter, and police personnel from the Encroachment Department.

Moving forward, such anti-encroachment actions will be intensified.
