The unauthorized RCC building at Sagarnath Rama Madhvi, House No-30, located behind Macchi Market in Diva Village, Sector-9, Airoli, was constructed without any permission from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. A notice was issued under Section 54 of the Maharashtra Regional Planning and Town Planning Act, 1966, requiring the removal of this unauthorized construction. However, the concerned parties persisted with their illegal construction.
In compliance with the order from the Hon'ble High Court in Writ Petition No. 1591/2023, partial eviction of the 5th floor has commenced today. Given that heavy machinery like Poklen and JCB could not access the site, 6 hammers, four breakers, and 15 laborers were employed for this operation, with Airoli Division officers and employees present to oversee the campaign. Anti-encroachment actions will be intensified in this manner moving forward.
In conclusion, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation's proactive measures demonstrate its dedication to maintaining urban planning regulations. By intensifying anti-encroachment actions, the Corporation aims to prevent further unauthorized constructions and ensure compliance with legal frameworks, fostering orderly development in the region.
