The Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) has come under scrutiny for its failure to take action against developers who have not regularized their illegal colonies, causing distress among residents. In a late-night incident in Mumbai's Malad West, nearly 20 families were evacuated from a building after a floor in one of the flats collapsed, resulting in two injuries.
