Delhi-NCR-based developer Whiteland Corporation has partnered with hospitality giant Marriott International to create "Westin Residences Gurugram." This project marks the first standalone Westin Residences in India. Residents will enjoy the luxurious amenities and services associated with the Westin brand, known for its focus on wellness and comfort.
The project will be situated on a 20-acre (approximately 80,937 square metre) site along Dwarka Expressway in Sector 103, Gurugram. This location offers easy access to major business and commercial areas. The project itself will be developed in two phases, with the first phase offering approximately 674 units and launching in the second quarter of the current financial year.
Westin Residences Gurugram will offer spacious three and four-bedroom homes, ranging from 235 to 386 square metres (approximately 2,529 to 4,154.8 square feet).
Whiteland Corporation plans to invest over INR 5,000 crore (roughly USD 62 million USD) in the entire project, including land costs. The total potential sales value is estimated to be over INR 15,000 crore (approximately USD 186 million USD).
The starting price for a Westin Residence is expected to be around INR 5 crore (roughly USD 625,000 USD) and upwards, depending on the floor level and size of the unit, which range from 235 sqm to 386 sqm (approximately 2,529 sq ft to 4,154.8 sqft).
John Hearns, senior vice president of Global Residential Operations for Marriott International, expressed delight at the agreement with Whiteland to introduce the first Westin Residences to India. He emphasised that Whiteland's commitment to excellence, combined with Marriott's global experience, will set a benchmark in premium living in India.
This project, with a development potential of 6 million square feet (approximately 557,418 square metres), is expected to be the biggest standalone branded residences globally managed by Marriott. The first phase of the project is likely to be delivered in five years from the launch.
