The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) conducted a Grievance Day programme at its headquarters in Rayapudi, Amaravati, on June 1 to address issues raised by farmers and agricultural labourers in the capital region. A total of 27 petitions were received, covering matters such as the reallocation of returnable plots, land pooling concerns and related issues. Senior APCRDA officials, including Commissioner V. Vijaya Rama Raju and Additional Commissioners A. Bhargav Teja and Kollabathula Karthik, reviewed the representations and assured applicants that their concerns would be examined and resolved at the earliest. The authority also reiterated that grievance petitions can be submitted daily at its Citizen Grievance Center and announced that the dedicated Grievance Day programme will continue every Monday at the Rayapudi office.
The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) organised a Grievance Day programme at its headquarters in Rayapudi, Amaravati, on Monday to address issues raised by farmers and agricultural labourers from the capital region. The initiative was held to provide a direct platform for stakeholders to submit petitions related to returnable plots, land pooling and other land-related matters before senior officials of the authority.
During the programme, applicants presented their grievances to APCRDA Commissioner V. Vijaya Rama Raju, IAS, along with Additional Commissioners A. Bhargav Teja, IAS, and Kollabathula Karthik, IAS. The petitions primarily concerned the reallocation of returnable plots allotted under the land pooling scheme and other issues affecting landowners and residents within the Amaravati capital region.
Officials informed participants that all representations received during the programme would be examined and addressed as expeditiously as possible. They indicated that the authority remains committed to resolving issues raised by farmers and local communities through a structured grievance redressal mechanism.
APCRDA also highlighted the availability of its Citizen Grievance Center (CGC) at the Rayapudi headquarters, where applications and petitions are accepted during office hours on all working days. Officials encouraged farmers, landowners and local residents to utilise the facility for submitting requests and grievances without waiting for the weekly programme.
As part of efforts to strengthen public engagement and improve accessibility, the authority announced that Grievance Day will be conducted every Monday between 10 am and 1 pm at the APCRDA headquarters in Rayapudi. The recurring programme is intended to provide a dedicated forum for addressing concerns linked to land administration, development activities and citizen services within the capital region.
According to APCRDA officials, a total of 27 grievances were received during the latest Grievance Day session. The submissions will be processed through the authority’s grievance redressal framework for further examination and action.
The programme was attended by Kumar P. Jayasree, Deputy Collector and Nodal Officer (GRM); N. Vasantha Rayudu, Director, Lands Capital City; G. Venkateswara Rao, Chief Engineer; B. Suresh Kumar, Director, Planning; V. Sunitha, Director, DP; Zubin Roy, Joint Director, Estates; and Kushwant, Additional Director, IT. Special Deputy Collectors A.G. Chinni Krishna, M. Seshi Reddy, K.S. Bhagya Rekha, P. Padmavathi, B. Sai Srinivasa Naik and G. Venkatesh, along with Tahsildars and other officials, were also present during the grievance hearing programme.
