The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has commenced construction of a dedicated construction and demolition (C&D) waste processing plant on a 9-acre site in Hanchya-Sathagalli, near the city's Outer Ring Road, with an estimated cost of INR 11.7 crore. The initiative aims to tackle the nearly 100 tonnes of C&D waste generated daily in Mysuru by recycling debris into usable materials such as crushed bricks and aggregates for road building and other infrastructure works.
