The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy recently clarified that it has not asked financial institutions to stop lending to renewable energy projects or equipment manufacturers. The clarification came after reports suggested otherwise amid discussions around solar sector overcapacity. The Greater Noida Authority has finalised alignments for two major projects-the Multimodal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Bodaki and the Multimodal Logistics Hub (MMLH) at Dadri-aimed at strengthening regional mobility and freight connectivity. The 117-hectare MMTH will integrate metro, rail and bus terminals, linked by a 1.8 km elevated metro line from the Greater Noida Depot. It will serve long-distance trains to eastern India and provide commercial and transport infrastructure across two planned zones.
