Hiranandani Communities, led by Dr Niranjan Hiranandani, has launched Hiranandani Sands, India's largest integrated coastal township in Alibaug, with a topline of INR 17,000 crore. Spread across 225 acres, the project features luxury homes, villas, plotted residences, serviced apartments, five hotels, a convention centre, wellness hub, yacht club, and one of Alibaug's biggest water sports hubs. The Bombay High Court has dismissed a petition by individual members of Satyam Lok Prabhat Cooperative Housing Society in Mumbai who challenged a deemed conveyance order issued to their society. The court ruled that once the society negotiates a settlement with the builder, individual members cannot contest it separately. The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 21 new projects worth INR 7,035 crore, paving the way for 10,866 residential and commercial units across the state. Announced at the Authority's 184th meeting chaired by Sanjay Bhoosreddy, the clearances reflect strong momentum in UP's property sector. The projects span districts including Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mathura, Agra, Bareilly, Barabanki, Rampur, and Gorakhpur. With dedicated provisions for the Economically Weaker Section, the developments aim to serve diverse income groups while generating jobs in construction and allied industries. The Supreme Court has held two tenants in Saharanpur guilty of contempt for refusing to follow its eviction order. One has been sentenced to three months in civil prison along with a fine of INR 100,000, while the other has been fined INR 50,000. If the fines are not paid within two months, both face additional jail time. The case had its origin in an eviction order issued by the Rent Control Authority, later upheld by the Allahabad High Court. The Supreme Court has directed a man to vacate two properties in Mumbai and hand them back to his 80-year-old father.
