MahaRERA shifts back to MahaIT platform to ensure service continuity during festive season

Synopsis

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has acknowledged technical issues with its newly launched 'MahaCRITI' website, causing delays and affecting real estate stakeholders. To mitigate disruptions, especially during the Diwali and Dussehra festive season, MahaRERA has decided to temporarily restore the previous website, MahaIT, effective from October 5. The rollback aims to ensure smooth operations for homebuyers, developers, and agents. Chairman Manoj Saunik held a meeting to address these concerns and urged cooperation from all parties while the older platform is reactivated to resolve the challenges.

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has noticed that many stakeholders, including homebuyers, developers, promoters, and agents, are facing issues with the newly launched 'MahaCRITI' website. These technical difficulties are affecting the smooth operation of the platform and causing delays in services. As a result, MahaRERA's ability to serve its users is being hampered.

To address these challenges, Shri. Manoj Saunik, the Chairman of MahaRERA, held a review meeting with all concerned parties. During this meeting, it was decided to take immediate action to avoid further disruptions, especially during the festive season of Diwali and Dussehra. This is a time when there is usually an increase in real estate transactions such as registering new homes, purchasing houses, and launching new housing projects.

To ensure that stakeholders do not face further problems due to the glitches on the 'MahaCRITI' website, Mr. Saunik has directed that the older website, MahaIT, be restored. Starting from midnight on October 5th, at 11:59 PM, the MahaIT website, which was operational before August 31st, will be reactivated.

MahaRERA advises all stakeholders to use the restored MahaIT website for any services they need. This rollback of the new 'MahaCRITI' website is temporary, and stakeholders are urged to cooperate and make use of the MahaIT website until further notice.

The new 'MahaCRITI' website was launched on August 31st. However, due to technical problems, MahaRERA has decided to bring back the old system to ensure smooth service for everyone. MahaRERA asks for the cooperation of all stakeholders in this transition.
