The lecture, titled "Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj's Vision of Educational Ideas," will be delivered by Mr. Abhijit Kamble, a renowned editor and lecturer with over 20 years of experience across print, television, and digital media. He currently serves as the Editor of BBC Marathi. The event will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, at 6:30 pm at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Auditorium in Sector 15, Airoli.
Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj is recognised for his firm belief that education is the cornerstone of human progress. During his reign, he implemented groundbreaking reforms, making primary education compulsory and free within his territory.
