In a move aimed at catering to the interests of stakeholders, the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has issued a comprehensive office order regarding the submission of documents pertaining to project registration, extension, editing, and agent registration, among other relevant matters.

According to the newly issued directive, project promoters are now mandated to submit relevant documents either in person or via post to the UP-RERA head office located in Lucknow. Similarly, agents have also been instructed to send their registration and extension applications directly to the head office, either in person or via post.

The decision to centralize document submissions at the head office comes in response to noted delays arising from these documents being delivered to regional offices. By streamlining the process and ensuring that all applications and documents are submitted directly to the head office, UP-RERA aims to expedite the processing and disposal of requests within stipulated time frames.

Furthermore, the office order specifies the handling of documents related to complainants from different regions. Documents from the NCR regions will be directed to the Regional Office in Greater Noida, while those from other districts across the state will be addressed at the Head Office in Lucknow.

Sanjay Bhoosreddy, the Chairman of UP-RERA, emphasized the importance of timely document submissions for the efficient handling of applications across concerned departments. The issuance of the office order underscores UP-RERA's commitment to resolving matters in a time-bound manner.

In a bid to cater to regional conditions, UP-RERA has established connections with eight districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Gautambuddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Shamli, Bagpat, Bulandshahar, Muzaffarnagar, and Hapur, through its Regional Office in Greater Noida. Meanwhile, the rest of the districts in the state remain connected to the head office in Lucknow, ensuring streamlined services for stakeholders in the real estate sector.
