IHG Hotels & Resorts, a leading global hotel company, has inked a management agreement with NK Sharma Hospitality Pvt Ltd for the development of two new hotels in the Chandigarh tri-city area - Crowne Plaza Chandigarh Zirakpur in the premium segment with 150 keys and Holiday Inn & Suites Chandigarh Zirakpur from the essentials collection with 200 keys. The hotels are set to open in January 2027 and are strategically located adjacent to National Highway 22 for easy accessibility. The hotels will offer extensive banqueting facilities with approximately 100,000 sq ft of meeting space, poised to cater to weddings, conferences, and events. Guests of both hotels will enjoy benefits from IHG’s loyalty program - IHG One Rewards.

Complementing existing properties, this deal will enhance IHG’s presence in Punjab, adding over 350 keys to its Punjab portfolio. Positioned in Zirakpur, the hotels are strategically located near National Highway 22.
Once open, Crowne Plaza Chandigarh Zirakpur and Holiday Inn & Suites Chandigarh Zirakpur will offer large banqueting facilities, meeting the demand for weddings, conferences, and events from Zirakpur, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, and Dera Bassi. Close to popular tourist locations like Shimla and Kasauli, the hotels will cater to guests seeking stopovers during leisure trips.
Crowne Plaza Chandigarh Zirakpur will feature 150 keys, four F&B outlets, meeting spaces, a ballroom, a club lounge, pool, fitness centre, spa, and retail. Positioned for premium accommodation, the hotel will be a popular choice for business and leisure travellers.
Holiday Inn & Suites Chandigarh Zirakpur will feature 200-keys, three F&B outlets, meeting rooms, a ballroom, a pool, and a fitness centre, providing a more economic option for travellers.
