To address this issue, Housing Commissioner and Department Secretary Ranvir Prasad explained that the source code and dynamic link-library (DLL) would be obtained from the private company this time, ensuring that the data collected remains the sole property of the department. Moreover, FASTPAS will serve as a comprehensive single-window system that integrates both internal and external agencies to facilitate the acquisition of no-objection certificates and clearances.
FASTPAS is set to incorporate various elements, including the integration of GIS master plans, zonal plans, logistics plans, transit-oriented zones, mobility plans, title ownership information, and land usage details. During the 2022-23 fiscal year, a total of 15,587 building plans were approved across the 29 housing development authorities and UP housing board (Avas and Vikas Parishad).
