Noted Bollywood actress, Neetu Kapoor, has recently expanded her real estate portfolio with the purchase of a luxury apartment worth Rs 17.40 crore in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex. The details of the transaction were unveiled via documents procured from IndexTap.com.

The lavish property, nestled within the premium Signia Isle residential project by the reputed Sunteck Group, boasts a generous built-up area of 3387 sq ft. Kapoor has fulfilled all necessary legal obligations for the acquisition, including the payment of a stamp duty of Rs 1.04 crore. The property ownership was officially transferred to the actress on May 10, 2023.

Interestingly, Kapoor's investment follows a recent trend among Bollywood stars expanding their real estate holdings. Alia Bhatt's production company, Eternal Sunshine Production Pvt Ltd, recently purchased a Rs 37.80 crore apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai. The opulent residence spans 2,497 sq ft and is located within the Aerial View Cooperative Housing Society Limited in Pali Hill, Bandra (West), Mumbai. The purchase was made from the Gold Street Mercantile Company Pvt Ltd, as per the official documentation.

In a related transaction, Bhatt bestowed her sister Shaheen Mahesh Bhatt with two Mumbai apartments, collectively valued at Rs 7.68 crore. Another big-name producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, secured a plot spanning 7,470 sq. ft in Juhu for 31.3 crore via his production company, Nadiadwala Grandsons.

In conclusion, it's clear that Bollywood stars continue to invest heavily in prime real estate, reflecting their financial success and the enduring appeal of luxury properties in Mumbai's most sought-after neighbourhoods. As these transactions continue, it's worth watching whether this trend might influence property values or demand patterns in the broader Mumbai market.
